This week we are discussing Hitler’s potential escape from Berlin.  In honor of the German setting, Colleen and Megan are drinking a German inspired beer, brewed in Virginia.  Hefeweizen is a traditional hazy German-style wheat beer with classic banana character and light notes of vanilla and clove. German Hallertau and Mandarina Bavaria hops provide restrained bitterness and subtle floral and citrus aromas. Crisp, effervescent, and extraordinarily drinkable.

5.5% ABV

Kait, however is a hippy who prefers cider and kombucha to beer.  So she’s sipping a cider from Charlottesville, Virginia.  This Makindu is coffee liquor barrel aged cider with mangoes, rose hips and Kenyan black tea. Proceeds from this cider benefit the Makindu Children’s Program which provides health and education access to children in Kenya.
